I am a PhD Candidate at the Institute for Logic, Language, and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam and fascinated by how we understand each other and make sense of the world in social interaction. As part of the SignLab Amsterdam and the research consortium Language Sciences for Social Good I am investigating multimodal communication in challenging listening conditions. I believe that communication should be accessible to everyone. Therefore, my research focuses on how to make communicative settings accessible for neurodivergent or hard-of-hearing individuals.
